Therapy for women, mothers, and queer adults ready to choose themselves.
How I Can Help
-

Perinatal Mental Health
Becoming a parent changes everything—your body, your relationships, your identity, and often your mental health.
Whether you're navigating postpartum anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, birth trauma, or simply feeling like you've lost yourself in motherhood, therapy can help you reconnect with yourself while adjusting to this new chapter.
As a Certified Perinatal Mental Health provider (PMH-C) and a mom myself, I understand both professionally and personally how overwhelming this transition can be.
-

Queer-Affirming
You deserve therapy where you don't have to explain or defend who you are.
I provide affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals navigating identity exploration, relationships, anxiety, family dynamics, life transitions, and the unique stressors that can come from living in a world that doesn't always make room for authenticity.
My office is a place where your identity is welcomed, respected, and celebrated.
-

Substance Use Treatment and Harm Reduction
Substance use rarely exists in isolation.
Whether you're questioning your relationship with alcohol or drugs, interested in moderation, working toward sobriety, or simply curious about making changes, we'll explore what's underneath the behavior without shame.
With eight years of experience in substance use treatment programs and training in harm reduction, I believe lasting change comes through compassion—not punishment.
-

People-Pleasing & Boundary Setting
If you constantly worry about disappointing others, struggle to say no, or feel responsible for everyone else's emotions, you're not alone.
Together we'll explore where those patterns began and build the confidence to communicate your needs, establish healthy boundaries, and create relationships that feel more balanced.
About Samantha
Hi, I’m Samantha! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Provider. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Houston, where I developed a strong foundation in clinical practice and a deep passion for supporting individuals through life’s most meaningful and challenging transitions.
At The University of Texas, I studied both Sociology and Women's & Gender Studies, which changed the way I understood people. I started asking, "What have people experienced, and what expectations have they been carrying?" That perspective still shapes how I practice today.
I’m proud to call Houston home, as a native and as a professional. Outside of my work, I’m a mom to 2 boys who keep me on my toes and constantly remind me of the importance of presence, patience, and perspective. I spend my free time trying to complete my long list of works in progress (quilting, cross stitch, knitting, etc.), trying new restaurants with my family, or finding a quiet moment to recharge.
